I shall leave one day
visited Annual Camp over the weekend. Came by to take a look at the campsite and the activities and tokkok with the scouts. Overall it was just very nostalgic, reminded me of the times past of my first annual camp, where everything seemed fresh and was really fun, my second annual camp which was effed by SARS but in the end went on fine with very interesting concept, my third annual camp where the pressure builds up as sec3s and finally my last annual camp last year as organizers, thus concludes my time in the most fun camp of 01. The structures were of quite good standard actually, they were innovative and imposing and took quite a bit of effort, especially with the well-drawn banners. The cooking has some improvement to be made though =P, woks full of oil with stuff inside left like that for 4hours at least...
There was also the announcement of the inter-patrol results of 2006 on day four after the smoky campfire. It was super kok la, but the standings were not affected in any way by the events that happened that night yea. This perhaps concludes the last committment as a GC member and closes my direct participation in 01, though I know that I will still return to the sanctuary every now and then and there are things that never change.
even then... my time seems very limited. A finite amount of time, which is never enough in paradise. I looked back at the annual camp campsite many times as I take my leave yesterday, looking at it like the last time I am going to look at such a scene, with the all familiar faces, structures and banners and the happy and competitive atmosphere. Perhaps it would be.

Well, the stayovers on sunday and monday were really fun. As usual, tokkok, play cards, do random stuff, really random stuff and of course sleep. The morning( or afternoon) after somehow feel dam degen, hope that time can rewind...
[01-2002 Part VI continued]
On June 4th we went for an OUTING!
After waking up at 8:35, Daniel, Sirui and me manned our way to Plaza Sing to catch Pirates of the Carribean only to find the hiphop poser Nam there. Xiangjun as usual took out the receiver from the phone and slept liddat, giving us the busy tone while "James pangseh". The movie, as usual from not kok become kok and from kok become man kok when Nam watch the movie. Good thing we read the wikipedia the night before so we can understand most of the plot. Very impressive.
Soon after, Paul, James, Xiangjun soon joined us as we made our way to the foodcourt for lunch. The usual lunchtime tokkok, never had it for a very very long time. Topics range from anything to everything. Dylan soon came and so we made our way to the SPEEDY cybercafe where of course, we PLAYED LAN. LAN RAWKZ.
We first warmed up with some Battlefield 2 action. At this point, Betawesh came from his training and joined us in the Battlefield 2. US against China quite fun. There is this spawnpoint in the middle which both teams have to capture so its super GL. The first team just reach there and camp, getting lots of frags. China won in the end though. Then we switched to Defense of the Ancients v6.44. In the first game, the sentinels simply owned from the start with all the muachampz heroes even though they only have 4 players and totally pwned the frozen throne. Hiok Hong soon joined us as we were about to play the 2nd game. In the 2nd game the Scourge owned but the heroes were quite imba yea. Yeah, just like last time when a game of DOTA is just the OWN.
After that took taxi to RI, the AC campsite. Went around the campsite to see see of course, reminiscencing the old days. Soon after we played soccer at the pitch black Astroturf. The astro now is a shadow of its former past but it is still the place that we remember as the place to play soccer, the erm, 2nd favourite pastime of the batch and also the first thing we did during our first batch outing in 2002. Playing in the pitch darkness is really dam fun la, cant see the ball, cant see the people, whenever someones comes near your goal, he's from the other side tts all. Played for the first time in 2 years perhaps but really fun!
The campfire was on next and finally time for announcement of the inter-patrol standings of 2006. Owned the PLs quite badly with all the arm-wrestling and pumping but was quite champz in the end. Yeah, so this concludes the duties of GC 2006...
